As experienced roofing professionals, we know that safety always comes first when working on a roof. A clever solution for fall protection systems on pitched roofs is the ABS-Lock Loop – an almost invisible anchor device specifically developed for load-bearing timber constructions. This high-quality accessory for roofers is fastened directly into the timber rafter and provides reliable protection when working at height.
The ABS-Lock Loop consists of a 5 mm thick stainless steel anchor loop that can be discreetly integrated into the roof. Installation is incredibly easy: using the included stainless steel screws, the loop can be securely and quickly screwed into the roof rafter – even with existing on-rafter insulation. The only prerequisite: The rafter must be at least 60 x 120 mm thick. When installing, please adhere to the installation guidelines according to ETA-20/0257 as well as the requirements of standards DIN EN 795:2012, A and DIN CEN/TS 16415:2017.
